Bananas and SpiceRecipe : Bananas and Spice
Procedure :
vanilla ice cream (optional) 4 ripe bananas 1/4 C. unsalted butter or margarine 1/4 C. brown sugar 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 Tsp. ground cinnamon and nutmeg Cut bananas in half lengthwise and crosswise. Melt margarine or butter in a skillet. Add brown sugar, stir until dissolved (medium heat). Add lemon juice and spices. Cook bananas for five minutes, gently turning them. Serve bananas warm with sauce or over vanilla ice cream. Serves 6. |
